Since our last update on August 15th, we’ve been hard at work making improvements to our quiz app and releasing the improvements as they became available. The following changes are now part of the app:
What’s new?
Unless otherwise mentioned, the following features are available for all subscription plans.
Test Duplication
As shown in the following image, a dropdown menu has replaced the delete button giving you the option to duplicate a test. Now you can quickly create a new test from an existing test saving you time and effort.
Options
The Tests view now has an Options tab to the right of the Questions and Assign Users tabs as shown in the following image.
If you’re subscribed to the Business or Premium plans, you can now choose if a test’s questions or answers are presented to the user randomly while they’re taking the test. If you’re subscribed to the Starter plan, the questions and answers are presented to the user in the order that you defined them when creating the test.
The final option added to this view is the ability to prevent retakes. This is also a Business and Premium plan feature. For Starter plan subscriptions, retakes cannot be disabled.
Email Notifications
When you assign a user to a test, that user now receives an email letting them know and giving them a link to quickly jump into the test.
When a user completes a test, the administrator is informed and is also given a link allowing them to quickly jump to the test’s results as shown in the following image:
Now that you know what has changed since our last update, you might be asking yourself, what’s next?
What’s next?
Some of the improvements that you can expect to see in the coming weeks include:
- An Android app is currently in testing and should be available shortly.
- An option to allow a user to see what the correct answer was after they’ve completed the question.
- The ability to duplicate questions and answers.
- The ability to move a question to a different test.
- The ability to move an answer to a different question.
- In-app notifications and the ability to choose if you want to receive email notifications or not.
